MIA but still here

I have been MIA again, but don’t worry, I won’t be gone for months again.  Mom was on call quite a few days and spent lots extra time at work.

dsc_0349Then, her best friend had part of a tree fall on her and has been in the ICU since Caturday. Luckily, even though badly injured, she will (hopefully) fully recover. Lots more time at a different hospital and away from us, but we understand.

I will be back to visiting you all soon.

  1. We recently saw a local news report about branches and trees falling around our area. The emerald ash borers have killed so many trees that it’s become a danger that people might not think about until it’s too late. Hope your friend gets better soon!

  2. Big big purrs for your Mom’s friend. WE know all about tree limbs falling. Luckily it’s only been onto the ground! But tree limbs can be very dangerous and heavy. We are so glad to see you today!!

  3. We have missed you Marty, but sometimes we all have outside pressures that prevent us from keeping up with our friends. We’ll be praying for your mom’s friend to recover fully. Keep us posted when you are able!

  6. Jeez to have a tree fall on you, pray the friend makes a full recovery. The chances of that happening are 1 in 20,000,000 they say and the chances of winning the lottery with one ticket are 1 in 13,983,816. Gosh I don’t know why I looked up those statistics. Have a good week Marty.
    Sweet William The Scot
